The first day of spring, Daniel Ionita told children the legend of Martisor and,  due to the approaching International Mother’s Day, together with Mircea Eşanu, the Executive Manager of MSIF, helped children to create postcards and write wishes for their mothers. Children have given a song and dance concert, and in the end everyone received a martisor.

Daniel Ionita, Romanian Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova said: "The Romanian Government has allocated and continues to allocate significant amounts for the program of rehabilitation of educational institutions, because in this way we invest in the future of Romanians. Children are the most important resource that has the Republic of Moldova. Through this project we convey to all from this locality that there is hope for a better future that provides children the opportunity to live in a European country, where all rules and principles are respected, rights of everyone are respected, and where they have the possibility to become who they want to be."

2.9 million lei from the grant provided by the Governmentof Romania have been allocated for the renovation of the kindergarten in Carpineni village, Hincesti rayon, and due to which the institution was reopened after 16 years. The roof of the entire kindergarten was reconstructed, thermal insulation of the building was made, floor and walls were renovated, doors and windows were installed and new furniture was procured for these funds, provided through MSIF. Also, the boiler room and the canteen was repaired, and the kitchen and the laundry were fully equipped. Slides were installed in the courtyard of the kindergarten. The preschool institution is attended by 42 children aged between 2 and 7 years.

Mircea Eşanu, the Executive Manager of MSIFsaid: "I still remember the spring of 2015 when I came here, to Cărpineni village, and saw this location. I did not believe that we'll manage to open this kindergarten – practically, only the foundation of the former building left. Everything what was built, was built from scratch, all goods that are in this kindergarten are provided with the support of the Romanian Government. We would not manage to open two new groups without this investment, two groups of those 200, already opened with support from the Romanian Government."

The village mayor, Ion Carpineanu said: "I want to thank on behalf of all the inhabitants of Cărpineni village, because our community has benefited from this support from the Romanian Government. We did not have an opportunity to open this kindergarten, and now children from our village are direct beneficiaries, who over the years will remember that the kindergarten was built with the support of citizens of Romania ".
