The renovation of schools is carried out based on the Memorandum of Understanding, signed between the MECR and the PI MSIF, the repair and reconstruction works being the task of the PI MSIF.

Sergiu Niculita, Deputy Director of PI MSIF:

"Currently, the renovation process is undergoing in eight schools in the country. We have 74% of  civil works done at the "Mihai Eminescu" Gymnasium in Telenesti town. We will continue the renovation process under a new contract in this institution, so that by the end of the year the gymnasium will start to  operate.

Also, we expect civil works completion in other seven gimnasiums in the country in current year:

- Theoretical gymnasium „Mihai Eminescu” in Cimișlia town (60%),

- Theoretical gymnasium „Alexandru Agapie” in Pepeni community, Singerei rayon (42%),

- Theoretical gymnasium "Mihai Eminescu" in Straseni town (41%),

- Theoretical gymnasium „A. Doljnenko” in Vulcanesti town, ATU Gagauzia (40%),

- Theoretical gymnasium "Stefan Holban" in Cărpineni, Hîncești rayon (37%),

- Theoretical gymnasium "Vasile Alecsandri" in Colibasi village, Cahul rayont (22%) and

- Theoretical gymnasium "Andrei Vartic" in Ialoveni town (10%) ".
