On Friday, July 31, 2020, the management of the Public Institution “ Moldova Social Investment Fund” organized a meeting with representatives of construction companies carring aut renovation works in educational institutions receiving investments under component A.2 of the “Moldova Education Reform Project” funded by the World Bank and managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.

Participants in the event discussed the situation at construction sites in terms of compliance with contractual terms, quality of work carried out in terms of its sustainability, safety of work at site, compliance with health and epidemiological protection against the spread of COVID-19 virus and challenges that arise in the process of work.

We note that PI MSIF monitors the development of renovation works in 11 educational institutions benefiting from investments, works are finalized in 4 institutions, 1 institution is at the contracting stage and 1 institution - at the tender stage. By the beginning of the new school year, the renovation process in 8 district schools will be completed.
