During the meeting of the Evaluation Committee of the Public Institution "Moldova Social Investment Fund" on August 5, 2020, the correctness of compliance with procurement procedures and contract award decisions in tenders for the selection of construction companies have been examined, which were organized by 69 of the 246 mayoralties - beneficiaries of investments in the amount of 3 million Euros allocated within the Technical and Financial Assistance Program granted by the Government of Romania for preschool institutions in the Republic of Moldova (GD no. 28/2019).

Following the examination of results of procurement procedures and decisions to award contracts within the tenders for selection of construction companies, the PI MSIF prepared Verification Reports on tenders organized by the Evaluation Commissions of beneficiaries.

On the basis of mentioned Verification Reports, Minutes on evaluation of tenders for the selection of construction companies issued by Evaluation Commissions of beneficiaries, as well as of documents submitted by bidders, the Evaluation Committee of the PI MSIF issued decisions on results of tenders organized by the beneficiaries.

Note: For the renovation and equipping of kindergartens in the Republic of Moldova, the Government of Romania has allocated 29 million Euros within the Technical and Financial Assistance Program provided by the Government of Romania for preschool institutions in the Republic of Moldova. Over 1000 kindergartens have been renovated and equipped with the use of these funds.

The Public Institution “Moldovan Social Investment Fund” has been designated as the entity responsible for the preparation, implementation and reporting on the implementation of projects financed by the Romanian Government.
