On November 27, 2019, the official inauguration of the "Paving the pedestrian access roads" sub-project took place in Cupcini town, Edinet rayon.  

The event was attended by:

• His Excellency, German Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, Angela Ganninger

• The representative of the German KFW Bank in Moldova, Sergiu Guțu

• The mayor of Cupcini town, Ivan Ostaficiuc

• Director of the "Constructorul" LLC, Iurie Cucuta

• The management of the PI " Moldova Social Investment Fund"

• Inhabitants of Cupcini town.

The "Pavement of access roads" sub-project was funded by the German Development Bank "Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau" (KfW) within the "Social Infrastructure and Energy Efficiency" Program, Phase II, in the context of German Financial Cooperation with the Republic of Moldova, and implemented with technical assistance of the PI "Moldova Social Investment Fund”.

Over 11,000 m2 of pedestrian access roads were paved within the subproject in the public park and on streets: Mateevici, Pacii, Stefan cel Mare, Renasterii and Chisinaului.
